EVOLUTION ARMCHAIR: the progress of comfort

The Evolution Armchair brings a new level of comfort and flexibility to any room. The elegant wooden frame has a fluid shape which invites relaxation. It is equipped with a system guaranteeing a high level of versatility to make it the perfect seat for reading and relaxing.  
Thanks to the reclining back, adjustable headrest and swivel mechanism with return memory, you can tilt the chair backwards from an upright position, blocking the back in the perfect position to relax. The leather cover and elegant outer structure in veneered or lacquered plywood lend a unique, contemporary design to the Evolution armchair.

The idea for the Evolution armchair comes from a new demand of  comfort. Stressed by the hectic everyday life, we take refuge on our favourite armchair for a little relaxation: a moment just for us to relax and do what we like most. 

Until now, this concept of comfort has involved only the sphere of seat cosiness without solving the most complex theme of harmony between body and mind: the feeling of relaxation must be coupled with a personalized, ergonomic support that benefits the whole body. The Evolution armchair by Alberta introduces a new concept of comfort and flexibility. The elegant wooden body invites to relaxation with its fluid shape; an integrated system of movement ensures a high level of versatility, and supports the body for reading and resting. The leather upholstery and the external structure show a unique and modern design.  Style and comfort are the main characteristics of the Evolution armchair, which, just like its name suggests, conveys the synthesis of the evolution of relaxation. An armchair that contains within several seating styles: from the convenience of a chair to the comfort of an armchair, from the relaxation of a chaise longue to the welcoming embrace of a sofa. 

This flexibility is possible thanks to the reclining backrest, the adjustable headrest, and a swivel base with return memory system: you can go from an upright position to a reclined one for relaxation by blocking the backrest in the desired position and relaxing your legs on the footrest. Each component of the seat is designed by Alberta to meet specific needs for posture and versatility. The backrest can be adjusted manually to the desired position: this ensures greater comfort and an optimal support of the spine during movement.

The sinuous shape of the wooden body and the precious leather upholstery represent the best artisan Italian tradition with a special focus on the history of design.
